Good Neighbors Gathering brought together a room full of people who believe in what is possible when we show up for one another.
We are so grateful to every sponsor, donor, silent auction contributor, volunteer, Board member, staff member, and guest who helped make this year’s event such a special evening. Their generosity strengthens Good Shepherd’s work every day as we help our neighbors move from homelessness into housing, stability, and care.
But the reason we gather is much bigger than one event.
Three formerly homeless Good Shepherd guests generously shared their stories with us in “What Does Home Mean?” They reflected on their first night in a home of their own, what life at home has made easier, and why support along the way matters.
It takes courage to share such personal experiences, and we are deeply grateful they chose to let us into theirs.
Their stories are at the heart of Good Shepherd’s work, and we want our entire community to have the opportunity to hear them.
Take a few minutes to listen, and if their stories stay with you, please share the video with a friend, neighbor, or colleague.
Because behind every meal served, every night of shelter, every appointment, every housing application, and every front door opened is a person working toward something most of us want for ourselves: a safe place to call home.
Thank you for being part of the community that makes that journey possible.
