	With a little help from his mother, this 8-year old cub scout collected 30 coats for the homeless.
	Becky Bucci, pictured on the right, of the Quilters by the Sea Guild, created the “Good Shepherd Quilt of Hope”. For a small donation, attendees to the 25th annual Quilt Show added their personal message to benefit Good Shepherd. http://www.quiltersbytheseaguild.com
	These two young ladies organized their joint Sweet-16 birthday party as a charitable event and raised $1,000 for the Good Shepherd Summer Camp Fund.

Fundraising drives can be organized by an individual, group, or congregation.

Examples include drives to collect:

Canned fruits and vegetables
Toiletries (soap, shampoo, razors, etc.)
Bed linens and towels
Winter coats, gloves, and socks

Collected items can be dropped off at the back door at 811 Martin Street any time, preferably between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Other ideas for fundraisers include volunteering as an event sponsor or hosting a fundraising/awareness party for Good Shepherd at your home. If you have an idea for a fundraiser, please let us know.
