Mark Your Calendar…..An Evening At Bellamy Mansion
November 5, 2009 6:30-8:30 pm
"Transformation...Beyond Shelter"
Supporting the Mission of Good Shepherd Center
Feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and fostering transition of those in crisis to independence in the community.
Bellamy Mansion, the setting for Good Shepherd Center's only fall event, is one of North Carolina's most spectacular examples of antebellum architecture built on the eve of the Civil War by free and enslaved black artisans, for John Dillard Bellamy physician, planter and business leader; and his wife, Eliza McIlhenny Harriss and their nine children.
The "Transformation" event will be an intimate gathering of only 200 people who will enjoy live music, foods from some of Wilmington's finest restaurants, wine, and a silent auction. The limited, special edition auction items have been produced by local artists from a variety of mediums.
Tickets to the event are $45 and will be available at Good Shepherd Center, 811 Martin Street. Please call Scott Litten at 763.4424 x113, or by email at gscresources@bellsouth.net with any questions. We look forward to having you at this rewarding event
